About Us

A Haven of Compassion.

Comfort Care Home is a compassionate initiative born from a deep understanding of the suffering experienced by terminally ill patients and their families in Sri Lanka. We are a team of dedicated medical professionals, caregivers, social workers, and business leaders united by a singular mission: to provide free, high-quality palliative care to those who are nearing the end of life.

What began as a heartfelt idea has evolved into a national movement to bring dignity, comfort, and peace to the most vulnerable members of our society. Registered as the Comfort Care Home Trust, this non-profit effort is committed to offering care that is not only medical but also emotional, spiritual, and deeply human.

    Our Mission

Comfort Care Home addresses a critical gap in Sri Lanka’s healthcare system — the need for free, compassionate palliative care. We serve terminally ill patients facing cancer, heart failure, organ disease, and other life-limiting conditions. Our mission is to restore dignity, relieve suffering, and support the emotional and spiritual well-being of both patients and their families in the final weeks of life — when cure is no longer possible and kindness becomes the most powerful form of care.

We are a group of medical and business professionals united by a shared humanitarian vision: to establish Sri Lanka’s first fully free palliative care center.Located in Sarasalai, Chavakachcheri (Jaffna District), Comfort Care Home is the first of several planned centers across the country. This initiative is made possible by a generous land donation and is officially registered under the Comfort Care Home Trust (Deed No. 632, dated 29.11.2023).
